Started participating in 'I am the diva' challenges. :) Pretty excited. Not much of a 'zentangler' myself but thought I'd give it a shot. I had to use brown in my zentangles. Thought about using waste material as it is environmental friendly, it will go well with the brown and... well it looks pretty cool! I was a bit unsure whether or not the pens will dry on the shells but luckily... They did! ;D

Welcome to zentangling, and you have created lovely pieces.
ReplyDeleteI think your shells turned out great. Such a good idea! But, I have a bone to pick with you as a shore lover.......never refer to sea shells as waste materials. Ha, ha, ha.
ReplyDeleteThank you :) I used Pistachio shells, not shells from the beach... however that would be a good idea as well! :P
DeleteVery kool, what kind of pens did you use on your shells? They are lovely!
ReplyDeleteThank you :) I used a Pigma Micron pen for the black (ordinary zentangle pen) and the brown was just a sketch pen!
DeleteI really like them. I love it when people translate zentangle onto 3d items
ReplyDeleteGreat way to tangle....I need some rocks!
ReplyDeleteWelcome Roshni to the world of tangles!! love the idea of tangling on pistachio shell, See you every week :) love mum
ReplyDeleteI love the shells, really unusual!
ReplyDeletewow! those are beautiful suggestion, use small drill bit, make hole in widest end and string as necklace. You could spray varnish them, too.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the suggestion! What a great idea :D
DeleteGreat use of the shells as a medium for Zentangle.
ReplyDeleteThank you:)
